This call for proposals supports the establishment and implementation of a consortium on the theme of ‘Climate Change, Justice, Society: Just Transition’ as part of the Climate Future Labs run by the Lower Saxony Centre for Climate Research. The aim of the Lower Saxony Centre for Climate Research and the Climate Future Labs is to develop interdisciplinary solutions for a secure and just climate future and to establish and expand a broad network for climate and climate impact research in Lower Saxony and beyond.

Hannah Arendt Fellowships: New Call
The Hannah Arendt Fellowships enable outstanding international academics from the humanities, cultural and social sciences to spend six months conducting research in Lower Saxony. "Humans and AI" is the topic for 2027. Deadline: 1 June 2026
