what we promote

Lower Saxony's universities have already implemented several promising approaches for effective empirical research on education. The aim of the funding program is to contribute to the further expansion of the research field in the state of Lower Saxony and strengthen its national and international connectivity by providing financial support for networking activities.

The funding of scholarly events in the field of empirical educational research is intended to strengthen the networking of researchers, the exchange of research findings, and the development of new research questions. Applications can be submitted by PhDs at universities in Lower Saxony and non-university research institutions funded by the state.
